This shoot is important to me for far more than meets the eye. Ambar and I met at the age of 14, during my first solo trip to DR. The same summer I started perceiving the omnipresent whitewashing tendencies of its culture. 

Ambar, my second cousin, kindred spirit with the purest radiant energy, perfectly balanced in her own mind, body, and soul, is a token for me that the future is way brighter and more in touch with the natural. 

Esta sesión es importante para mí por mucho más que siempre por su parte visual. Ambar y yo nos conocimos a la edad de 14 años, durante mi primer viaje solitario a la República Dominicana. El mismo verano comencé a percibir las omnipresentes tendencias de “whitewashing” de su gente.

Ambar, mi prima segunda, espíritu afín con la más pura energía radiante, perfectamente equilibrada en su propia mente, cuerpo y alma, es una muestra para mí de que el futuro es mucho más brillante y más en contacto con lo natural.
