AFTER DARK WITH ADOLFO SESTO
Adolfo Sesto for me is, above all, a friend and a pioneer of contemporary Dominican photography with a peculiar Lynch-esque aesthetics. Our first collab was published in early 2015 in the Czech mutation of VICE magazine and later got translated into Spanish by Casa Quien.
We have decided to join our forces once more for a series of themed posts of Adolfo's photography curated and written by myself. After Dark is the first post of the series. Focused on the shenanigans of nightlife in Santo Domingo, posh or derelict, its high energy and Adolfo's astonishing eye for detail (and limbs, tongues, middle fingers and kisses).
